I canβt quite reveal what this is actually for yet, but I wanted to share this drawing of Dinah in a sort of mock-up gig poster that I did recently! It was a good excuse to try some new things and switch up my process a bitβas much as I enjoy working in Clip Studio Paint on the iPad, I still feel most at home in Photoshop. For this piece, I wanted to experiment with some new brushes and techniques I hadnβt tried out in CSP so I did about half of it in Photoshop and the other half in Clip Studio, and I gotta say, Iβm pleased with the end result.
Would you guys be interested in a post dedicated to my favorite Photoshop and/or Clip Studio brushes? How many of you are artists yourselves? It seems like every few months, the βbrushes/tools donβt matterβ discourse gets kicked up again on social media, and Iβve always had the opinion that brushes actually matter a lot! Sure, with enough skill and practice, you can do just about anything with the standard round brush in Photoshop, but why make life harder than it needs to be? π Let me know if youβd like me to share a basic overview of my most-used digital brushes!
As a bonus, here are a couple HD phone wallpapers π One with the lettering/design elements, and one without. (For personal use only, please!)

Not an artist, but I'm curious how you do the fishnets. Hopefully not by hand!
Of course interested in the brushes! Do you actually use Photoshop on your iPad? I downloaded it and wasnβt really a fan after using Procreate. But maybe I need to give it more of a chance?
