Captain Carter #1: Carnagized 💥

There was a bit of a mixup with this variant cover—when I was originally asked, I actually turned it down because anything Venom/Carnage always feels like a weird fit for me, but my name was accidentally left in solicitations without anyone noticing for literal months 😂 Long story short, I ended up squeezing it into my schedule in between 2 other deadline fires that all needed to put out at (roughly) the same time, lol. Despite the circumstances and my hesitation with drawing for the event, I got to experiment a little with my process (in an effort to knock it out as quickly as possible) and I think it was a success..!

In hindsight I’m very thankful they didn’t go with C, haha. I was homaging the famous MCU Captain America key art and I think having to draw the city of London on a tight deadline might have actually killed me. 💀 Anyway, Captain Carter #1 should be available at your local comic shop next week—I hope you’ll give it a read!
